Difference before and after is not so noticeable on video like in real, it’s so much better, even with more drained battery starter spins faster and engine starts easier. That is night and day difference. Ideally you want to replace starter brushes and if possible disassemble gear mechanism clean it and lubricate it.

Would this stop the cold start slight grinding noise?
This is encouraging instruction for DIY engine hobbyists, struggling with their old cars and hard-to-find parts.
But now, the obvious questtion– where did you find any replacement components needed? Parts to s starter are not as every-day as we might want to believe.
