Chevy 5.3L MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR REPLACEMENT!

In this video I replace the mass airflow sensor in my 2003 Chevrolet Suburban with the OEM unit by Delphi and the 5.3l motor. I was getting the code P0101. This process should be very similar with any vehicle containing a mass airflow meter including Chevy, Chevrolet, GMC, Ford and Dodge.

DELPHI Mass Air Flow Sensor:
The above Delphi sensor is the ACDelco part 19330121.

  1. The cheap reason online is that it’s cheap and it’s because online they sell many counterfeit stuff that works for a short period of time or don’t work at all!!!

  2. I replaced my Mass sensor and it had the same crank problem. I cleared thr code from the computer with my scanner. It started up again but gave me another trouble code for THROTTLE intake manifold. I cleaned the throttle body with some cleaning solutions. I installed a new gasket and also cleaned the air filter and oiled it. So hopefully that solved the problem.
