Amazing how you could that so easily, compared with todays cars is a piece of cake!
Had engine mounts replaced by a shop and they failed after three years . They will only cover the parts and are charging for labor . Second time this has happened . Had issues with window motors assembly replacement. Many inferior parts out there.
Do I need to jack the car too before removing engine mounts?
My ST225 currently rattles under load and not while idling, but my new downpipe is moving aggressively and hitting or vibrating on the cross bar only when under load, The old downpipe was doing the same thing but wasnt as bad as the new downpipe is 3 inch while the stock one was 2.5 inch. This didn’t start happening until after replacing 2 out of 3 engine mounts and the 3rd one is getting done next week. I drove for 12 months not knowing i had 2 failed engine mounts while the front engine mount looked like it was replaced sometime before i bought the car. So i think i wore out the front motor mount while the torque mount wasnt holding the engines weight and the transmission mount was also getting to that point . I just dont know if im 100% sure if the 3rd engine mount being replaced will steady the new downpipe as the rattle was happening with the old downpipe as well. I dont drive it much as of this moment until i fix it
