With 30 years of automotive industry experience, our founder Dwayne Saunders recognized the need for providing auto repair through a different lens. After a brief trial-and-error business model, he opened Genuine Automotive & Diesel in Austin, Texas, in 2019. Start at a jiffy lube for like a year, then transfer to a retailer like pepboys, that lube experience will help u get in the door, do that for a few years and pick up on things then transfer to a dealer or just keep climbing, you gotta want it tho, all the while study and get ur noise into things, take some ASEs; you DONT need school, it helps but you dont need it
